Pinegrove

An architecture firm that hired the same visualiser twice at two different rates, three months apart.

The problem

Pinegrove commissioned a visualiser in spring at one rate and, having entirely forgotten the engagement, commissioned him again in summer at a noticeably worse one.

He was too polite to mention it. Accounting was not. The firm discovered that institutional memory, when stored across four inboxes and a project folder, is neither institutional nor memory.

With Artkive

One roster, one rate history, one moment of quiet reflection about the previous system.

Every visualiser now carries their quoted rate, past projects and conversation history in one record the whole studio can see. Negotiations start from what was actually agreed last time rather than from whoever answers the email.
